Introducing My New Business Name...
Mindful-Meus

Finding Inspiration From Within

Why a Business Name Change?

For quite a while now, the name Teens Just Breathe has only represented a piece of my business offerings. While I do work with our Youth, I also work with adults, families, schools, businesses, organizations and cities.

So let me tell you my story...
I continue to believe that mindfulness and mindful self compassion are essential skills for all humans to have. These skills open our minds, our hearts, provide sustenance for our bodies, and enhance our ability to love ourselves and each other more fully.

I do believe that we are One- we are connected to all of the living beings on this Earth. However, many of us feel disconnected, left out, and alone as we travel our individual paths. When we do not understand this connection with all beings, when we place too much importance on ourselves as individuals, it is easy to feel alone. Mindfulness and mindful self compassion teach us how to go within for our source of strength and also how to reach out and connect with others. This balance between Me and Us is how my new name was born: Meus.(Pronounced Muz)

This play on letters- MEUS- is an alternate spelling of MUSE- a source of inspiration- which is what mindfulness can do-it helps us tap into our own inner resources while also merging into the greater collective.
